The ping pong game continues....i have tried to move away from the pink into the dark on this entry....I may have a bit more of a play before I post or it may stay the same....I will post it to you wednesday....
It's superb Lynne, the deeper colours are so attractive with the gold! Your rt hand face is inspired,he looks so real,so interesting. Our son became a'Goth' for a year with white skin, black eye makeup, lips, fingernails etc, this takes me back :) Is the left figure a wayang puppet?Or is it a mythic Japanese ghost or hero? Does this mean I can branch out a bit with my next pages? I'm looking forward to this,I really like those colours.
Deb I think he is a mythical hero, and a really bad tempered one he looks too :-) my son went through the blue hair black fingernails thing too ( he still has the piercings )....in my experience the Goth kids were always the politest , well mannered ones :-)
please do branch out...I am in the middle of adding paper, and will wait a day or two to make sure it is properly dry before I post it off.....otherwise the pages can stick together :-(
Yes, the Goths I've met were all real sweeties, very gentle souls. Our son still has the piercings too-arggh!
Do you really have to wait for paper to dry-what glue are you using? Mine dries pretty instantly. I'd like to show you the pages I've put in for you,six of them ,three more spring and three for summer, but I don't think I can put photos in these comments boxes ?
I dont think I know how to add images to comments ...hmmmm frustrating... just post them as WIP...its our blog, we can fill it with recipes if we want to....:-)
I use spray glue MM7 or something...it gets on the edges...it says to leave a day so I will.....sometimes I give everything a light dusting of talc to make sure, but pages have arrived with me on other molys where I have had to pry apart very carefully.....
I've used a spray adhesive for some pages (Micador)and ordinary glue stick for others,no probs yet, except I need to watch out for bubbles if I collage drawings in.
