I've pasted 3 more pages of the spring blossoms in and then 3 pages of strong summery colour-one of my fave papers. So it's up to you,a bit more Spring or launch straight into a bright summer :)

have you already done some work a bit further on in the book? ...if so then I will add some of the Kawaii images and then send the book on to you....I have counted the pages and there would only be a couple of postings left if we do it this way....

me again....now that I have folded my book back up I have noticed how thick they are getting.......I have 9 spreads un-papered...when they are done the book definitely will not close.

what are your thoughts on this? are you happy for your moleskine to go wild and burst from its seams with gorgeousness, or are you going to do some surgery on the spine to contain it all......or ( and this is an idea not particularly a suggestion) we could cut out a few pages at the end as yet uncovered and give the worked on pages a bit of room to breathe)?

Yes Lynne,I've done my summer trees pages, have been trying to upload since yesterday but have internet connection problems,it's flicking on and off,I can get the odd quick comment up but can't upload photos.
I like your suggestion, esp, as Australia post charges 3x more than your Royal mail ! :)

I'm commenting in little bites as the internet keeps flicking on and off,I can't upload photos at all,but can get the odd quick comment in.
Yes the books are getting thick,as you say, they are positively bursting their seams with gorgeous images,it doesn't worry me at all.I don't want to cut my book down or reduce it's pages,i'll want to look at it open anyway.

No I don't want to cut my book short either...phew :-)
but I may do some surgery on the spine....I love books that are bursting, but I do want it to be able to travel safely.....

thinking about costs etc, would you like it to be the 'final' exchange? we can work throughout our books and then send them off? I dont know how that would work, but it could be interesting?
let me know if you can.......
Because I am going to do more pages in my book I might not be able to post it off until week after next ( when I get back from hols....it seems silly to rush it.........so no pressure on you to post yours either..
hope your internet gets back to form soon

I had thought the same and was tempted to draw autumn and winter as well, but wondered if the book would lose some of its marvellous 'flow', if we do our images without following on from each other's work? These summer pages felt a bit hard to do in a vacuum,I wasn't really inspired.

I'd kind of like to see what you draw for Spring/summer before I start autumn.

OK :-)

I am a little confused....you appear to have left me 6 pages to work on....is that right? do you want me to fill all of them, or do you want some left? and doesn't that mean you will be working next to your own entry whatever I do?

ps,I'm so busy this month that I can't do any more in the books anyway,so no hurry about posting yours to me.Hope you have a good holiday,I'm going away for a week at the beginning of August ,so we could have a spell for a few weeks if you like?

Sorry.Yes,I have papered six pages for you,3 to continue the spring theme, the paper suits it so well, and then 3 for summer. So your summer trees will actually appear before mine in the book. You'll be drawing 6 continuous pages. Then when I get the book back,I'll paste 6 autumn pages in(following on from these summer girl in the window pages)3 for me and 3 for you, then 6 winter pages, also 3 for me and 3 for you and then the book will be finished-unless I've miscalculated and one of us has two pages only at some point.
